Summary
The three hairs gifted to Gimli have more meaning then he knew at first. Written for the two thousand fics Gigolas challenge. In this series, Legolas is still a minor and Gimli has been acting as his guardian since the Ring War.
Please read the notes on this series for it to make more sense, and it won't hurt if you've read another story or two! This is written to satisfy a request, so it is out of chronological order, and can be considered an A/U of my usual A/U where Gimli does eventually die. I, like the requester, prefer this version!
