Obi-Wan was not panicking.
He wasn’t because, at Anakin’s age, he too had wandered in the Temple. There were a lot of interesting things to see, especially for a young boy who hadn’t grown in the temple. So, there was no reason to panic given there were always people around if he got lost, fell and hurt his knee, or whatever kids were doing when being kids. Curiosity and all that.
It was fine.
Or rather, it would be fine if Anakin really was wandering the Temple.
