   Summary

   Alex is content to put his past behind him and start a new life with his sister, but nothing is easy when you're a three year old viral monstrosity with the entire world out rooting for your demise.

   Three years after the first outbreak, Cross discovers that the Mercers have settled down in a small northern college town and are keeping mostly to themselves. He is content to live and let live.
