Across the crowded room, Roronoa Zoro lifted a sun-faded, wide-brimmed leather hat off his head and looked up to meet Sanji’s gaze for the first time in seven years. “Hey, cook,” he said.
Sanji calmly reached beneath the bar and hefted a shot glass into his hand, tossing it straight up and catching it in his palm to test the weight. Then he wound up and flung it unceremoniously at Zoro’s traitorous skull.

“Zoro,” Perona called after him, and Zoro turned to see the most self-satisfied grin he had ever seen on his sister's face. She held out the cursed photo to him.
“I really don’t want it,” he said.
“Oh, I think you really do,” she said, turning it over and shoving it in his face. On the back of the photo was a phone number, with the words “A gift from Santa” scrawled on it. Zoro grabbed the photo quickly, ignoring Perona’s giggles, and stalked toward the mall’s exit, feeling his cheeks turn what was surely a violent shade of red.
