Summary
An AU where Richie survivies the attack (Ruth also survives but that's less focused on) and he recovers in the hospital and is visited by the people he cares about, because he deserves to be happy. This became more focused on Paul and Richie's relationship than I originally intended, but I love familial relationships so I'm happy anyway. Lots of physical affection because I love that.
The content warning is mostly for the first chapter as that's when Richie is found after being attacked, the rest of the chapters are pretty chill.
