Summary
They say twins are a bad omen in jujutsu society. A soul, a being, split into two, burdened with individual wills as broken halves, true potential floating out of one's reach. Some say it's because that soul that wasn't strong enough to maintain its true form. Others say it's because that soul was lonely and sought a companion within itself.
Maki and Mai, they say, are the epitome of this belief.
