    Warning: In this fic Yibo has cheated on Xiao Zhan, please don't click on it if it will cause you distress.

    Just to make it clear, I'm not trying to portray Yibo as the bad guy here. There is a lot of suffering for both of them, one because he has cheated and lost the man he loves and the other because he's been cheated on.

    In this fic I tried to show both sides and the POV switches between the two of them. This is a story about a journey of learning, growth and healing, a story of forgiveness and second chances to a stronger and better relationship.

    Lastly, please do keep in mind that this is fiction and not a depiction of Yibo's or Xiao Zhan's real characters or personalities.

    Flicking his eyes up at Yibo’s face on the screen, he murmured, “Don’t you ever miss our life from before? Before A-Ling changed it?”

    Yibo’s face softened as he recalled the days when they could still go out on a normal date together — to a hole-in-the-wall restaurant, to see a movie, or even to just take a walk without an entourage, without all the elaborate decoys and deceptions to throw off pursuing fans. Long-ago memories replayed in his mind: Xiao Zhan laughing in his ear as they rode off on Yibo’s motorcycle to nowhere special; Xiao Zhan reclining in the grass; Xiao Zhan kissing him outside under a full moon. His throat tightened, and a deep feeling of loss overwhelmed him.

    Xiao Zhan and Wang Yibo are in quarantine far apart when 227 happens. It's a perfect storm — a pandemic, a cyberbullying campaign, and the pain of being separated — how will they get through it? By remembering what brought them together in the first place.
