Summary
In a world where everyone carries Jewels - repositories of the psychic power of both their human and wolf spirits - a taint has taken root, threatening to destroy the continent from within. In the thousand years since the Joining, too many of their kind have learned to find pleasure in the pain and humiliation of others.
Jimin and Jungkook are the first to possess Onyx Jewels in living memory. Their strength has made them targets of those who don’t understand their power, and of those who seek to use it for their own purposes. They had each resigned themselves to lives of solitude, but the whims of fate have other plans.
