“Will,” Mack interrupted, placing his hands on either side of Will’s face. “Do you want me to go with you?”
Will took a deep breath, cradled gently in Mack’s palms, then nodded. He tried not to let just how badly he wanted it show on his face in case it pressured Mack either way.
I love you, he thought. We already share hockey. I want to share the other important part of my life with you, too.
Mack smiled.
“Then I’ll be there.”
