Nuzzling the infant soothingly, he coos down at him soft and low, clicking his tongue lightly. “It’s okay, mama’s here.”

It eventually became so bad to the point where Katsuki had started forcing Izuku to start sleeping in his dorm so he could make sure he slept enough. Izuku had always appreciated it. Some nights when Izuku couldn’t sleep he would stay up and mutter next to Katsuki until he woke up. Izuku had expected him to be angry with him because of it, but all Katsuki felt was relieved by the fact that his stupid Deku still was a big nerd after all. So instead, the blonde would just hum along, years of hearing Izuku’s mumbling letting Katsuki understand him perfectly fine. They would stay like that for a while, with Izuku rambling and Katsuki listening until Izuku fell asleep in the other’s arms. Katsuki was the reason Izuku managed to stay the whole year at UA.
