Summary
Harry had just finished his first year at primary school and his summer had started off as well as could be expected when living with the Dursleys. But the good was not long-lasting. Harry is whisked away from his life of pain after being chased then attacked by his cousin's gang. Arriving in an unknown location, Harry will discover a whole new way of life with a family and love.

Summary
It has been three years since they were outted and Henry and Alex have finally settled into a groove that works well for them, except for the fact that it feels like they're always having to steal time together. Queen Mary constantly coming up with excuses to get Henry out of public events with Alex isn't helping, and Alex is done with it. After a long conference in Tokyo that Henry couldn't attend, Alex's flight home being delayed is the last straw and he calls Henry to say they need to figure out a better way to do this, to which Henry agrees. But fate has other ideas. Alex's flight goes missing somewhere over the Pacific, no trace of it to be found, leaving Henry and Alex's family struggling to not lose hope while unable to do anything.
Edit 1/1/2026: Added my main Ao3 account as a co-creator so I could have all my fics over there. Used to have them separate because for a while I had the same literary agent as CMQ, and that was a few too few degrees of separation for my tastes at the time, lol. But I don't have an agent now, so I don't care about anyone knowing I wrote these fics. 💖🤍💙

"Your bedside manner is terrible." He laughed but followed her instructions all the same.
"Well luckily that's not what they pay me for." Evie replied.
"What do they-"
"Sergeant Le Page!" Mike's voice cut him off. "Get that poor boy off the floor and into the shade."
Evie sighed and rolled her eyes.
"Well right now they're paying me to get you off your arse." She stuck out her hand to him. He took it and pulled himself up. "I'm Evie by the way."
"Johnny." He said looking at her slightly baffled.

After studying under Ralph Alger Bagnold, the creator of the Long Range Dessert Group, Evelyn le Page was invited to join up. She grabbed the opportunity with both hands and spent a year with the regiment. “Do you have to go?” Eoin asks sleepily, an arm tightening round Paddy. His voice is rough with sleep, his eyes still closed. Paddy can't help but smile at him.
“Aye, or else no one will open up.”
“Hmm, or you could call in sick,” he says with a smirk.
“How about I come back after work?” Paddy asks without thinking. For a moment he worries that it's too much, that Eoin will want some space or need to think about things, but Eoin smiles at him again and says,
“I would like that,” with such genuine feeling that Paddy relaxes.Series
