“Cait, don’t” Jayce warned her from his tied up position but the captain shushed him with another blade to his throat.
Slowly, the amused captain stepped forward. “Aren’t I lucky? I expect a ship full of gold and I find myself a princess, a very pretty one at that. One that’s willing to come aboard my ship in order to save the life of whatever crew is left… what an honourable thing to do, your majesty”
The captain seemed unbothered as her gloved fingers slowly took her in a tight grip once again. “I’ll take your deal, but you must know one thing… As long as you are aboard my ship, you will obey my orders without question”
Grey eyes held the gaze of cerulean as the princess softly answered “I understand."
With that, her fate was sealed.

Vi looks at the big clock on the far wall. 7:46AM. She’s one minute late today. Every morning for the past six months - well, every morning Vi’s been on shift, so she’s just assuming about the other days - she’s passed by at exactly 7:45AM, always at a brisk walk, always in a perfectly-tailored suit, not a single long, silky-looking hair out of place.
7:47AM. The crisp clack of heeled boots on concrete pulls Vi out of her musings. There must have been some sort of emergency, because the subject of Vi’s (minor) obsession walks past the fire station at a faster clip than normal. Which is sort of saying something, because Mystery Woman’s got legs for days, long and slender, visibly toned with long, lean muscle through her suit pants. At the faster clip, Vi has less time to admire her ass and tiny, tiny waist as she walks by, but that’s fine, because the view as she leaves is fantastic.
