Summary
After an accident while away at college, Nobara is living with her mom and grandmother in Pupukea, Hawaii, for the summer. While there, she takes up a job at a surf shack, hoping she can earn enough money before the start of the school year, working there and doing other gigs around the city, so she can fly back to the mainland. Yuta was a pro surfer; however, after an accident, leaving him unable to surf, he has been trying his hardest to quickly get back out on the waters. Unfortunately, it left him in such a state where he doesn't even have the motivation to get out of bed. With them, they hope to help each other get back on their feet. But will hope help with the scars of the past, or will it drown them along with their debt?
