“Listen, you said we needed a bottle,” Bobby replies. “I’m just helping. Even though I think spin the bottle is stupid and you should just pull Alex into a closet or something and tell him how you feel.”
“Ah, so that's the preferred method for confessing feelings, then,” Willie’s grin slides across his face and something dangerous flickers behind his eyes. Bobby gulps. “So I can assume you’ll be too busy in your closet with Luke and Reggie to play with us, then?”
“Wh–what do you mean?” Bobby’s heart flutters, a butterfly caught in a net, as sweat beads on the back of his neck. “What are you talking about?”
“I'm doing this for you too, y’know,” Willie carries on, oblivious to Bobby’s panic. “You think you're slick, but I know you'd love to kiss Luke. Or Reggie. Or both of them, together.”

It doesn’t sting somewhere far down, a place that he knows all too well by now, that Luke seems to be hanging out with Julie, touching her and laughing with her, writing with her, doing basically everything with her, and he’s left trying to figure out what to do.
