OR: Ma Henderson & Wayne Munson get cosy, Dustin makes an off-hand remark, and Steve spirals. It works out in the end.

Summary
They find him in the boathouse. There’s glass at his throat and a fear thick enough to choke, but Steve doesn’t take it personally. These things happen.
Eddie’s shaking apart and Steve doesn’t know him but he knows the look in his eye.
They leave him with promises and a hope that he’s not crazy. Still, they leave him.
There’s a story Steve remembers about looking back, a punishment in salt. He’s got his key in the ignition and there’s something brackish in his mouth when he turns to see the shadow in the window.
“We can’t…he’s alone,” he says and no one answers because they know he’s right but they don’t know what comes next.
It’s Dustin who finally breaks the silence, a quiet, “where can he go where no one would look?”
Eddie hides at Steve's house. There are consequences.

Miles meets Gwen, and they look at each other in the I-know-you way. She recognizes his half-awkward step, how he goes along like he's still trying to figure himself out– because he is. Because he's barely a man, let alone Spider-Man. But he'll get there. The same way she did.
Miles sees it too, beyond the initial feel. You're like me, he thinks in more ways than one. It's nice to find someone like that. He wants to talk about it with her. Maybe start a support group. Transgendered Spider-People United!
There's no time to talk about it. And then they say bye.
