Uhhh :3 kinda self indulgent fic for myself but!! Heh alien:isolation and soma inspired (as well as some The Thing and body horror in general inspo too) if that doesn’t say enough then uhhh…. Sniff js have fun reading!

————————ANYWAY ANYWAY about the actual fic. It takes place in a huge space station in, well, outer space!! Specifically to study and document alien life :3
In here space is much like the ocean; teeming with life!! Schools of “fish” and other large organisms are common to see and sometimes they and meteors bump into the station and cause some dents and stuff that has to be repaired (I’m sure you can guess by who).Of course, there is OTHER stuff out here that.. is not so .. friendly? Bah- I’m sure it’s nothing but a particularly bitey little eel!

Trophy is a simple mechanic who barely likes anything and dislikes everything- especially that annoying idiot who keeps coming into his shop to bother him every time he’s back home to the kingdom from a mission!!Knife is a pilot for one of the armies few mechs and has tried to make Trophy his friend- everyone else is- but that stubborn mule keeps himself isolated from everyone and everything! At SOME point they’ll be friends..
Sadly for trophy sometimes (most of the time) he gets commissioned by the army to fix the mechs, mainly knifes mech- how does he keep breaking shit all the damn time?? He’d refuse to fix anything for them if he wouldn’t get evicted and starve and lose his little repair shop.
