Eli had found himself with the biggest domain of all the other Gods by a mile. He had his own kingdom, army, citizens, everything.
Literally everything.
All mortal souls, in the end, went to him. All life on earth eventually became a part of his world and one day, once the earth died and there were no more mortal lives left to worship the others, he’d be the sole ruler of all. Without exception, he had everyone and everything in the end and would have no others to oppose him.
He should have been thrilled.
He should have been bouncing off the damn walls with joy.
But he wasn’t.
In fact Eli fucking hated it.

The angsty S6 part 1 oneshot with Demetri having some interesting unhinged thoughts about Eli and how he’s acting

Summary
It was the first of many heavily-ignored lessons on why it wasn’t a good idea for Demetri to run his mouth. Still, at the time, he was genuinely trying to be helpful.
Well. Helpful with a side of snide superiority, anyways. Truly amazing how Demetri Alexopoulos mastered that skill after only walking the earth for 5 years.
“Only took you a second to recover,” Eli recalls. “You started ranting about why dinosaur species differences are still relevant to modern animal classifications, or evolutionary trees, or…something.”
If there’s one thing he remembers about Demetri, it’s that he spent just about all of elementary and middle school not knowing when to quit. This may have contributed to his burnout by the time high school rolled around, where quitting was immediate and instinctive.
Demetri sighs. “Yeah, and then he called me ‘Old Dead Lizardboy’ for the rest of the year.”
On a trip to Chicago's Field Museum to see Sue the T-Rex, Demetri and Eli are haunted by thoughts of their past and future alike.

October 31st, 2008. When six-year-old Robby asks to go Trick or Treating at the last minute, single dad Johnny has to scramble to come up with a plan. Having recently been laid off and already struggling to make ends meet, he realizes he can’t afford the costume that his son really wants.
His back against the wall, Johnny is forced to get creative. But with only $20 in his pocket and hours to spare, will he be able to come up with the badass Ninja Turtle costume that Robby deserves? Or will he let him down again?
