“So what are you getting Reo for Valentine’s Day?” Bachira asks curiously, stuffing a handful of goldfish into his mouth.
Barou’s eye twitches. “Don’t you dare get crumbs all over MY floor”
“Our floor.” Nagi corrects. Barou looks five seconds away from punching him. “Why would I get Reo anything?” He asks with a slight tilt of his head. Bachira’s mouth drops open. “Because you two are dating? Reo would be very sad if you didn’t get him anything!” Bachira says in an incredulous voice while he gawks at Nagi.
“Me and Reo aren’t dating though?”
All heads snap towards Nagi in disbelief. Even Barou does a full 180 turn towards him for fuck’s sake.
Or; Everyone thinks childhood friends Nagi and Reo are dating until Nagi reveals they’re not. Nagi wasn’t even aware of his own feelings until a certain question about Valentine’s Day comes from Bachira. Nagi is then forced to face his feelings and figure out how to ask Reo to be his valentine (and maybe more).

The first time Jayce realised, fully and truly realised, that he would lose his husband sooner rather than later, it was around nine at night, as they tried to get the last of these calculations done before a presentation tomorrow. So focused on work, Jayce hadn’t even realised how late it had gotten, sighing when he realised that he’d now have to try and pull Viktor away from his own work, which rarely took less than half an hour.
He looked over at Viktor, seeing him still working tirelessly across the room, noticing the weary look on his face.
He was getting tired a lot quicker and lot more frequently recently. Enough for others to take notice, with both Mel and Sky pulling Jayce into a corner to express their concerns.

He raises an eyebrow and Sakusa nods after a beat, rosy lips parted.
