Summary
Long before Neil Josten arrived in the nowhere town of Millport, Arizona he was an exy prodigy with great potential and a girl. Now, he’s neither.
Neil Josten knows how to survive. What tree years on the road didn’t teach him, his mother showed him. After leaving her dead body on a beach on the West Coast, Neil has been on his own, protecting his three-year-old sister and himself from those that hunt them and struggling to make ends meet as a homeless teen.
When Coach Wymack shows up looking for a second striker sub for his exy team, the Palmetto Foxes, Neil is faced with a choice: keep on the path his mother trained him for or trust that exy can save him.
But signing for the Foxes proves messier than promised.Or:
A story where Neil is trans masc and a teen parent (not that he'll be very forthcoming about either of these things, this is Neil). Spoilers in the Tags!! If you want to experience this through Neil's usual shady POV skip the tags. Content warnings the same as the books.Bookmarked by ButteredLamp

Summary
Neil has been on the run since the day he turned into something his father didn’t want, but losing his mother changed everything. Neil can’t survive on his own, he just isn’t strong enough, the only tool he has left in his arsenal is to stay shifted, remain a wild animal for as long as possible. He only gets drawn into a populated area because he’s starving, and he only stays for a little bit because he can’t help but be intrigued. Then Kevin fucking Day gets involved, and suddenly Neil is stuck.
Injured, paranoid, and trapped in the body of an animal, Neil is at the mercy of the foxes’ kindness. And he’s never been one to put faith in the kindness of others. But the foxes are, in their strange ways, kind; Abby is firm in her care, Wymack is gruff in his concern, and Andrew is hilariously blasé in his curious interest. But Neil is running for a reason, even if he’s not sure he wants to run anymore.

Summary
Andrew concludes that the fear plain on the hybrid's face is the realest emotion he'd expressed thus far, and the most intelligent, but before that thought can continue, Neil opens his mouth.
"I'm not a pet," Neil snaps at Andrew, ears flat against his curly black hair, "And I'm not interested in being domesticated. You've already got one striker on your leash," Neil indicates Kevin, who sputters out an indignant noise from where he's sitting on the entertainment center, dramatic pose ruined, "I have no desire to be your second."
Neil Josten is more than just PSU's newest prospective striker sub, he's also a fox hybrid, making him officially more trouble than Andrew cares to handle. Unfortunately, Kevin's never listened to Andrew, and Neil gets recruited anyways.
Updates biweekly-ish!

Summary
Riko has lost everything: Kevin, his chance with his father, the big game, his brother's respect, and now his pride and what little freedom he had. He can either let the Foxes take him in and show him a life outside of the Nest or he can die.
Riko would rather die, but Kevin has other ideas for him.
