Summary
The Doctor sighed, wistfully remembering that very first trip out with Rose. She’d been flabbergasted at the mere concept of universal roaming, and the Doctor couldn’t help but smile as he recalled the delighted wonder in her tone. She could comprehend the sentient, telepathic time-and-space ship, but somehow the concept of advanced technical jiggery pokery baffled her--as if there were anywhere in the world he couldn’t get a silly little signal to.
Perhaps he should’ve considered something similar for Amy, prodded her to call Rory or something. Of course, he couldn’t have known they’d end up engaged, in his defense. And picking him up was just inherently better, wasn’t it? No need to upgrade the cell phones just yet--well, it could never hurt, just because one of them wasn’t stuck on Earth didn’t mean they wouldn’t need to call every once in a while--
As if there were anywhere in the world he couldn’t get a silly little signal to--

Contrary to popular belief, Amelia Pond didn't bite all of her therapists. Only the ones that told her the Doctor wasn't real. She actually really liked her last therapist-she even invited the woman to her wedding. It was just a shame she couldn't make it and missed the chance to meet the Doctor. But when the Doctor finds out about her, he decides they should stop by and surprise the woman to see if she really believed Amy or was just humoring her to avoid being bitten like all the others. But none of them are prepared for Dr. Wolf's reaction when they land in her living room.

Rose is so close to finally being reunited with the Doctor again, but when the dimension cannon spits her out on a whole new planet and she runs into a whole new man, she finally understands what it means to be careful what you wish for.
Everything in this fic is set between the events of S4E11 "Turn Left" and S4E12 "The Stolen Earth" with a S4E13 "Journey's End" fix-it and a Ten/Rose reunion and epilogue as well.
