What was he missing?
aka: Loki was struck after Thanos' ship was destroyed, leaving him unconscious for weeks. And when Thor's brother finally woke up, he had forgotten more than the last 5 years. Set back shortly after falling off the Bifrost, Loki tries to understand everything, including why his brother broke the promise they made to each other. One person is intrigued most by Pandora's story, relating to her: Loki.

Summary
Loki is killed fighting the Dark Elves on Svartalfheim but, upon returning to retrieve his brother's body post-TDW, Thor finds him somehow barely clinging to life. Rushed back to Asgard for lifesaving treatment, Loki slowly recovers. He is told by many to expect a complete pardon, only to be told by Odin that he must in fact marry immediately, and must stay married, in order to avoid being resentenced to life in the dungeons. The girl chosen by the gods, Mriya, is well-bred, well-behaved, and is intended to keep him on the straight and narrow. Although Mriya is pretty and of a royal line, she is also obsessed with propriety and can never be told that he is Jotun due to her extreme views against Jotunheim. If she were to find out about his Jotun background, she would reject him on the spot, and Loki must therefore resign himself to a lifetime of pretence on pain of life imprisonment.
After much agonising, Loki resigns himself to a life with Mriya, and proposes to her as promised... but then the god Freyr, overlord of Alfheim, brings a beautiful Light Elf named Saorspioraid to Asgard from Alfheim in order to escape scandal... and Loki falls fast and hard, despite his promise to Mriya.
