“I dunno,” Ali says, accent even thicker from the beer that’s making him tipsy. “Sometimes I do when I’m drunk. I think Alex gave it to me.”
“Alex doesn’t even smoke!” Jordan all but shrieks. Virgil watches Ali curl his toes into the grass, and smirks. He knows what it’s like to be on the receiving end of that shouting.
He’s pretty sure it affects Alisson in the same way that it affects him, too.
