Summary
Martin is drowning in nicotine, choking on his own addiction. He knows he should stop. He wants to stop. But the cravings are louder than reason, the warnings louder than his own voice. Doctors beg him to quit. Friends encourage him on. Strangers look away in pity. And then he arrives. A straight-A transfer student with a sharp mind and a soft gaze. For the first time, Martin hesitates. Will he finally listen to the warnings or sink deeper into the dark path he’s carved for himself?

Summary
Juhoon is popular—always has been. He’s effortlessly striking, with a quiet intensity that draws people in, even when he’s cold and distant. He’s brilliant: the top student, the principal’s son, and filthy rich. Who wouldn’t want to be around him?
Martin is popular too, but for entirely different reasons. Tall, handsome, and undeniably gorgeous, he’s loud, charismatic, and endlessly entertaining. People flock to him because he’s funny, kind, and the life of every gathering.
The two couldn’t be more different—and they hate each other because of it. Juhoon sees Martin as a loud, attention-seeking nuisance. Martin thinks Juhoon is a pretentious try-hard who acts like he’s better than everyone else.
Their rivalry runs deep… until Juhoon’s dad forces him to get a part-time job at a bakery. What Juhoon doesn’t realize? The bakery belongs to Martin’s aunt. Suddenly, they’re stuck spending hours together—forced to see past their first impressions and uncover sides of each other they never expected.

Summary
Martin hates hospitals.
It’s everything for him. The clean feeling; the fact that people are literally getting paid to stick by Martin’s side day in and day out; the terrible manufactured cold that seeps through his bones; the shitty blankets that feel like cheap linen and hardly cover his body. There’s also the reality that he’s quite literally never alone, someone always knocking on the door or hanging by the bathroom while he showers. He was a fall risk once and they never seemed to let it go, which, years later, is more inconvenient than anything else he battles while he’s there.
The staff know him by name now, at least. He supposes it’s better than being faced with someone new each time he walks in.
or, Martin has a chronic illness and discovers he's very, very lonely.

Summary
If you ever asked somebody—a teenager to describe school, they’d probably say something among the lines of “educational”, “useful”, or maybe even as exaggerated as “prison” or “hell”.
But if you asked Juhoon, he’d describe it as “a social hierarchy”.
Because yes! School is everything that was named above, but it was just.. strange.
Why does a place that is supposedly only for your own educational good have social titles for the students that go there?
Why are teachers favouriting the ones that are better off in social status rather than treating everybody like an equal?
Why must the kids pay for their lunches if not provided for them by their household or by the school board?
Why is school costly for some families when it should be a free-of-charge service?
And despite his own opinions, he himself is a victim of everything.
OR
Juhoon, the popular kid, meets Martin, the foreigner and the new kid. But with his reputation, Martin doesn’t seem too fond of him.. will Juhoon manage to change his mind?Bookmarked by CORSHOTTY_TRUST_IM_SWAG
