Varka rolled out of bed, pulling on his underwear and a sweater in an attempt to ward off the chill.
Flins was standing where he expected, on the grated railing that wrapped the lighthouse, fully dressed in his heavy coats. It felt freezing cold against his bare legs when Varka wrapped his arms around Flins’ stomach from behind. It was still nighttime, or early morning. It was impossible to tell since the sun hated this place at the edge of the world.
Flins’ gloved hand curled around his forearm.
“Go away,” he said gloomily.
