“Just wondering if you’re happy.”
The question hit harder than it should have.
Gris hesitated. “Of course I am. Supporting the cleaners matters. You know that.”
“Yeah,” Enjin said, eyes never leaving him. “I do.”
There was a beat. Then Enjin added, lightly, “I’m not.”
Gris startled. “You’re not?”
“Nah.”
“How may I support you?” Gris asked half-heartedly, despite the poor attempt at the pun
Enjin answered by grabbing his collar.
Gris barely had time to react before Enjin yanked him forward and fell back onto the bed, pulling Gris with him. The world tilted. The mattress dipped. Gris caught himself instinctively, arms bracketing Enjin’s head.
Too close. Not again.
Enjin’s grin was sharp, mischievous, utterly unrepentant.“I can think of a few ways.”
Gris’s brain short-circuited.
OR
When returning from a clean up, Enjin winds up under the intoxication of a rare flower and Gris becomes his romantic interest.

Summary
Rudo and Regto are banished to the pits when he is only ten years old after they are framed for murder. They land in a garbage field of poison air, trash beasts, and a future scraped together from whatever they can salvage.
Every item is important to Rudo. Nothing was trash to him. He'd repurpose it all if he could help it. How was he supposed to know that the items seemed to care about him, too?
Or.. Regto does everything he can for Rudo on the ground even if it means risking it all when they join the Cleaners.

Summary
The young members of Team Akuta have gone missing without a trace. Enjin and Gris will do anything it takes to rescue them… even if they have to team up with the Raiders of all people. Apparently Jabber has disappeared too, and Cthoni and Bundus are just as desperate to find him.
For once, the Cleaners and the Raiders have a united goal: To track down their kids, and get them back by any means necessary.

Zanka has been keeping a secret from the rest of the Cleaners for a while. He figured it didn’t bring any immediate danger to the team, so it wasn’t necessary to bring up. Plus, it might degrade Zanka’s reputation. For now, he would continue to work in silence.
That was, until a common foe exposed him in their most recent encounter…
