MK threw his hands up in frustration, "But why? At least give me a reason!"
Chopping vegetables a little more aggressively than was necessary, he shot back, "MK, have you seen the price of those tickets? It's too expensive! And that's without the cost of trains, hotels and food!"
Oh no.
He could already tell by the triumphant look on MK's face what he was going to say and he knew there was no way that this was going to end well.
But unfortunately, MK did not pick up on his attempts to telepathically warn him of the dire mistake he was about to make and blithely declared, "Mei's got it covered! It won't cost you anything!"
MK and Pigsy have an argument, Tang does his best to mediate.

Summary
There were a lot of things that MK and Red Son didn't talk about.
They didn't talk about their uneven longevity. They didn't talk about their feelings for one another. And they most certainly didn't talk about the kiss they'd shared when they had thought the world was going to end.
So what if that kiss had haunted MK every day for the last two years? And so what if the longing had developed into a physical pain in his chest? It was still more bearable than the heartache that awaited both of them if either of them dared to give into the desire for more.

His eyes are suddenly cruel. What he says next makes it all the more unsettling. “This is not some prison you want to take him out of. In fact, he’s perfectly free to come out whenever he wants. He just chooses to stay there.”
Macaque’s heart drops, while Nezha shouts “that’s a fucking lie!”. Macaque, unfortunately, can’t agree with Nezha. He knows a liar when he sees one, and this smoky figure is not one of them. “He’s not lying.”
Nezha’s eyes go wide. He still can’t believe it. “Yes, he is! Even if he wasn’t, he must’ve done some fucking shit to him, altered his mind or something. There’s no way he's staying in that killing device!” Nezha yells. Macaque doesn’t have the heart to calm him down. There’s a daunting realization in him that he isn’t even surprised Wukong has done this.
(or, there is an artifact that makes one's dream world but drains them out of their magic. wukong has gotten himself into it, and makes it macaque's problem.)

Summary
Peace has been restored to Megapolis after the harrowing defeat of the Lady Bone Demon, thanks to the Monkie Kid and his promiscuous friends. With serenity afoot, the demons have fled to the shadows with the idea of Immortals known to the mortal eye. Months have passed, with very little happening and the world at rest, until sudden danger lurks around the corner. Word begins to pick up on the local news of a mysterious substance called "Decay" spreading from island to island off the coast of China—seemingly turning whatever it touches to stone, killing life around it and which, seemingly, cannot be broken, no matter the holy weapon or the power of a vengeful god. Nobody knows of the source of this material, nor does anyone know how to stop the spread of it, causing a tangent of irked fear to fill the public's hearts of the unknown. That is, until one fateful and pouring evening amid April, when a duo of unexpected and unfamiliar faces—a tiny owlet with a deformed wing and a bipedal white feline—stumble into the humble abode of "Pigsy's Noodle Shop," determined to fulfill their quest of stopping the spreading Decay. One can only ask: what lurks in the unknown from the beyond?
