    It has been my observation over the years that when two people live a sufficiently long time in close proximity, there is a tendency, from time to time, for petty grievances to gather and fester until they eventually bloom into furious disagreement. Even the most inseparable of friends are not immune to this inevitable phenomenon—and Burrich was hardly what I would have called a friend.

    Set during Assassin's Apprentice, while Fitz is living with Burrich. When they get on each other's nerves, Fitz has a reckless reaction, and Burrich has a reliable response.
