Summary
Moving through dark corridors of the Cerberus laboratory it all feels wrong for Shepard. Her head ached like hell, her balance was off and the fact that she was missing her fingers didn’t help with her shooting. Breathing hard, leaning against the cold metal wall she uses it as a mirror to inspect her wounds. Jane was sure it was a nightmare. Her bright red hair was nowhere to be found her slightly fluffy cheeks were replace by hide scales and fringe. In a fuzzy reflection, the face of a turian with green eyes looks back at her.

Summary
Commander Jane Shepard was the hero from Elysium the first Human Spectre and protector of the Citadel against Spectre Saren. Many of these titles were forgotten the day she died. Garrus took her death hard, valuing her friendship as much as her leadership. In conjunction with the typical bureaucracy of C-Sec, he quickly became disillusioned by how the Alliance and Council alike tarnished her memory and swept her efforts against the Reapers under the rug. Fed up with the changes, he took his new rifle – a final gift from the late commander – and set his sights for Omega.
What only started as a handful of days stretched on to two years, gradually chipping away at the criminal underbelly of the lawless Terminus Systems. Fed up with his presence, all the major gangs united to take down the newly crowned Archangel. Hunkered down in his old apartment, he had his rifle fixed down a one-way bridge, gunning down wave after wave of mercenary racing to kill him when a female turian suddenly appeared with a small team in tow. Much of her movements and leadership resembled that of the late Shepard. He couldn’t forget the moment her gaze met his when he looked up at him in his perch.
