Ever since V got her miracle cure in a secret FIA lab, her days have been nothing but grey. She works long hours at a junk stall so that she can make rent and spend the rest of her hours staring at her ceiling. Today is just like every other day for the past year, bland and full of shifting faceless crowds.
As V is eyeing the crowd, she spots him.
He’s got light skin, short and curly blonde hair, leather jacket and dark jeans on, and is probably shorter than she is — but that’s not what V notices. V notices the way he walks, not like he owns the place but like it’s still standing by his grace. She notices the scowl on his face, the way it twists his lips. She notices the way he holds his shoulders, like his left arm is heavy, despite clearly having modern, symmetrical chrome. She knows him instantly, like she knows her own self.
It’s Johnny motherfucking Silverhand.

Kerry has stepped out for a smoke. Johnny ain’t too proud to admit Kerry is hot; wouldn’t be fucking him nearly as often if that weren’t the case. But right now Kerry isn’t just hot.
Kerry is dressed in full drag getup, tight black dress, stockings, wig. Obscene fake tits. Jesus fucking Christ.
