Jimin can already hear what the other students are saying. “Is she insane?”, “She’s going to get herself killed!”, “She has a death wish, really.” and a few others she can list just at the top of her head. They think Minjeong's gone nuts for just looking at her, let alone sitting next to and talking to her.
Jimin blinks. Once, twice. Then she smiles, albeit faint and barely there. Minjeong sees it, Jimin can tell from the way her eyes light up.
Meet Jimin! She's the senior everyone's scared of. Oh, and that small one...? That's her girlfriend.

“Wanna bet?” Jimin asks, a strange look in her eye.
“What?” Minjeong asks, her mind still on the injustice of her math homework. “On what?”
Jimin doesn’t respond. Instead, before Minjeong can react Jimin leans in lightning fast and pecks Minjeong on the cheek.
It takes Minjeong a couple seconds. Then she raises her hand cautiously to touch her cheek in disbelief. Any thought of her stupid homework is blown out the door. Why the fuck did Jimin just kiss her on the cheek? They don’t do that. It’s not a thing.
The way Jimin leans back afterwards with a wide smirk, that’s also not a thing. Minjeong’s Jimin isn’t remotely assertive or the type to smirk in a way that makes Minjeong’s breath catch in her throat.
“Bet you can’t guess why I did that.”
