Although it was careless to talk shit about Ran, Mochi felt encouraged that the worried expression of Rindou smoothed out more. “So don’t worry about me ever ditching you! If he has a problem, I will figure it out myself!”
“You’re a real one, Mochi.”
That familiar smile spread on Rindou’s face. His posture relaxed, as if he had no worries in the world anymore, making Mochi feel like a great man.
They reverted to their usual conversations again, engrossing Mochi enough that he overlooked agreeing to coming over to Rindou’s house party.
