Summary
“Steve—”
“Nope,” Steve snaps, cutting Eddie off. “Not doing this right now, sorry.”
There’s a moment of silence, before—
“I just think we should talk about—”
A bubble of laughter forces its way up Steve’s throat, slipping past his mouth. He turns to face Eddie, ready to spit venom at the man, but that’s when he takes in Eddie's face.
When Eddie breaks up with Steve seemingly out of nowhere, Steve scrambles to pick up the pieces in the aftermath of it.

They don’t talk about it.
Yeah, Eddie knows it’s stupid and possibly (definitely) immature, but he really doesn’t know how to breach the subject.
Hey, Steve, thanks for jerking me off when I couldn’t sleep. Forgot to mention I’m in love with you. Yeah, no worries, it’s chill. You have a really nice dick! Adios.
Eddie is going to die.
What’s meant to be a documentary about Corroded Coffin quickly turns into a docu-romantic starring Eddie Munson’s one and only best friend, Steve Harrington. Will the boys figure themselves out before the rest of the world?

“Wow, Henderson,” Eddie quips, clearly trying not to laugh. “You invite yourself into Steve’s home and slut-shame him in his own bedroom?”
OR
Dustin breaks into Steve’s house and walks in on him and Eddie. The important thing to remember here is that it is absolutely not Dustin’s fault.

Summary
Okay, maybe it was a little masochistic to drag Steve goddamn Harrington to a metal-centric party. And maybe it was a little sadistic to shove Steve into a pile of metalheads– but– but! In Eddie’s defence, he wasn’t thinking.
(Eddie brings Steve to a metal afterparty. He doesn't love the attention Steve gets.)
