But a weekend with his brother turns out to be rather interesting as it leads to an open mic, a lesson on how to disguise your royal identity 101, some vital discoveries and a whole lot of teasing.

They can't stay away from each other. Simon knew he shouldn't have sent the Christmas present to Wille, but he had no impulse control when it came to him. What can he say? He'd be a fool if he didn't miss him.
Wilhelm didn't want to be alone. It was probably why he sent the present in the first place, but he loved Simon and he'd never forgive himself if he just let him go.
Separated but connected by a mutual desire, a string as thin as ice, to be together despite everything that drove them apart.
They didn't have a snowball's chance in hell, did they?

Summary
After the disaster that was his almost-outing (as what exactly?), Wilhelm wants to live a life thats as unscandalous as possible. But, of course, people jump in to ruin that plan, so he decides that inviting his friends to stay at the palace for a week will be a great idea.
Simon wants to finish school without constantly thinking of Wilhelm or the way his arms felt around him. He doesn’t get a chance to do that as pictures of Wilhelm kissing a girl flood the net. Do they get to have a relationship in public when the prince won’t with him?

They should’ve closed the curtains. He should’ve stepped back, only for a moment, away from Simon’s warm and gentle touch, his soft lips, and loving gaze. Wilhelm should’ve said ‘Wait a second’, step back and close the fucking curtains.
But he was drunk and high, on drugs and love, and there’s one certain truth he hasn’t been able to ignore from the beginning: There’s nothing that matters, once Simon is there. Right in front of him. Nothing else, nobody exists. They don’t matter.
He wishes, Simon was here right now.(Or: A possible continuation of the finale we all desperately need.)
