Summary
Ghouls biology is different from humans in many ways. One of those many ways is they need a mate and if they don't find one in a certain timeframe, instincts take over and they get one. It would however be nice if said mate got a little more warning.
Where the ghouls haven't gotten a mate in time so instincts take over and the first person they see becomes their mate.
3/29/23 edit: I was just informed that I messed up and referred to the reader as female, this is supposed to be gender neutral if you come across any other times I've dones this please let me know so I can fix it!! I'm attempting to change my writing to gender neutral reader but I'm so used to writing female reader that I'm bound to mess up! So just let me know and I'll fix it as soon as possible!
