Dean and Cas are back on Earth thanks to Jack. They are in love and deliriously happy. Everything is going well… until Cas discovers that Dean left him voicemails after The Empty took him. Neither of them are prepared for the emotions and buried trauma these messages bring to the surface. In the midst of this, they meet a widower and his adorable son who impact Dean and Cas in ways they never could have imagined.
This is technically a sequel to my short story, TheEyesShout, but this stands on its own and reading that one is not necessary to understand or enjoy this one.
