Summary
After being given real bodies in Season 7 and finishing up the season, Grumbot and Jrumbot are ready to join their first full season in Season 8. And the beginning of the season is an important time. The time where you set up your starter bases, start to look for where your main base will go, and what Hermits you'll likely live near and spend time with the most.

Summary
It was time for the hermits to move to season eight. The new update was out and there were new things to explore, plus they needed a fresh start anyway. Xisuma had a seed prepared, general maps were shown and people had ideas of where they would build and where certain districts would be. But it all went out the window when they actually arrived in the world.
Most of the hermits are completely alone, stranded somewhere in the world in dangerous conditions. Some people are even in other dimensions. While people are respawing, they're not regenerating health and many people are stuck in death loops, not able to escape their spawn before dying and starting over.

Summary
There is more to the history of gems than just their existence. 14 of them don't just appear on a planet with no rhyme or reason. The diamonds don't just exist as leaders and do nothing else. There is more to their history. Much like a world you may have once known, there was a rebellion, and the disappearance of one of the diamonds. But this isn't that world. And thus the history is different and the stories as well.

Aka this is my personal headcanons on how the history of the gem empire/homeworld/rebellion/etc happened in the gemcyt au. It's a mix of a pretend history lesson summarizing events, and stories that actually include the characters. As my one friend said 'it's history, it's fiction, it's historical fiction and fictional history!'Series

Summary
The Hermit Gems rebelled against their Homeworld long ago and liberated their solar system. Every so often, more gems from Homeworld will join them, whether from being sent on a mission and crashing on one of the planets, or hearing the stories of the defecting gems and wanting to join them instead of their likely inevitable fate on Homeworld of being shattered.
But one gem doesn't fall into that category. Instead, they're found still at one of the Kindergartens, never having left and never having seen another gem before.
-The gemcyt Brainrot got to me and I wrote out a fic connected to the au made by Chrisrin on tumblr and i think also twitter? I haven't touched that place in forever. This is mainly focused on Evil Xisuma, but within the au.
