Summary
It's a scorching hot day in the Beach City summer, the type that has everyone making sand angels, when suddenly the power goes out. No-one knows why, but there is the pressing matter of heat stroke. Well not really but it feels like it.
Amethyst says there's an evillll monster attacking the transformer, but she has to be joking... right? Steven goes to check it out and... She wasn't joking.(Or at least she wasn't wrong. There's a corrupted gem latched onto it. Even weirder, Steven is the only one that can see it. And none of their attacks can hurt it. Maybe heat stroke wasn't so bad...
At the same time, in Japan, a young girl continues a life long mission to repay a debt. It's taken her far too long already and every moment spent not progressing is something she can't tolerate. She lives life on constant timers. Some of her own creation, and one of someone else's. However long it takes her though, or whatever it costs her, she won't stop until her mission is completed.
Watch as the timer ticks down, until these two parallel threads tie together into an inseparable knot; through sorcery fights, isolated agonizing incidents, and the occasional fluff scene followed by retroactive angst.
