Summary
“Okay…and what's this so-called “opportunity” you're thinking of?”
Miles wasted no time, deadpan, not even thinking how crazy-
“I'm leaving for Germany Sunday morning.”
A smile.
“I would love for you two to join me for the month-long trip.”
What?
“WHAT!?”

Summary
Phoenix was unable to stay conscious, he would open his eyes, a different time would show through the window, and as soon as he woke, his head would fall back and he would be gone for another..few minutes? Hours? Days? He wasn't sure.
However, this time, he felt a soft gentle poke of his forehead.
He wasn't sure what it was, but he didn't have the strength to swat at it. He groaned, the best he could do to ask the offending pressure to leave.
And then again, and again, and-
“What?” He groaned out, and finally, he opened his eyes and-
“H-holy sh-” his eyes widened, and he tried to move back, but the movement caused a cry to come out as he held onto the wound.
It was…a teenager? He wasn't sure, he wasn't a young kid, but definitely no older than 17. He had two weird hair strands sticking out of his hair.
(Zombie apocalypse au that follows the siblings relationship with Phoenix as he tries his best to keep them alive and hopefully find his group at the shelter or on the way)

Summary
"Wright, you have more pressing matters to worry about." He hummed. He watched as Wright messed with the jacket. He wondered why he had become so fascinated with it. Maybe the fabric, it was expensive after all.
Wright didn't seem to care, or notice Miles staring. He watched as the man seemed...rather dazed? Out of it? He just looked out the window, an empty smile on his face.
He was in thought, he realized.
"I don't have to worry about it all right now." Wright had started. Miles felt his ears redden as Wright looked to him.
"Just you, for the moment."

Summary
"Can i say something?" Phoenix asks, and out of the corner of his eye, he sees Miles jump, the sudden noise coming from him sudden, and then he realizes that they hadn't really said anything for awhile.
"What is it, Wright?" Phoenix almost felt bad at how soft Miles sounded, it almost felt like he was about to kick a puppy. Geez- maybe not a puppy, Miles was still a little too scary to compare him to something that small, even if he was being adorable right now.
Phoenix looks towards Miles, and he can feel that feeling bubble within him, that feeling in his gut and he hated it, hated how he has pushed it onto the back burner all these years.
"I still kind of hate you."
(AKA: They finally talk about the letter Miles left, and it brings out a lot of emotions between the two men.)

Summary
Phoenix knows the truth.
He was convenient.
A commoner with no connections, no noble ties—easy to manage, easy to dismiss. Someone who could be married off to Prince Miles Edgeworth without a fuss. The palace had taken him from his life, scrubbed him clean of his past, and slotted him into a role that fit their agenda. He is not a husband. He is a tool.
In the rare moments where Phoenix has allowed himself to think about it, the reality of their marriage stings. He doesn’t exactly have a reference for what a good marriage looks like, but even he knows that he is now bound to a stranger who treats him like a ghost.
OR: Arranged marriage + royalty AU where Phoenix agrees to marry Prince Miles Edgeworth to save him but Miles spends the first few years of marriage pretending that Phoenix does not exist.

Summary
“I think you overestimate my abilities. I have no experience in accompanying, merely playing.”
“Oh, that’s no problem at all!” Gumshoe waved a hand. “You’ll have plenty of time to learn the songs over the next month.”
“Is there anything else that I could do? Something more.. suited to me, I suppose?”
Gumshoe’s smile promptly dropped, and Miles realized he’d made a mistake. “Oh, uh.. no, this is all that I have for you, pal.”
“No matter.” Miles smiled, speaking through gritted teeth. “When do you rehearse?”

Summary
Phoenix had never forgotten his childhood friend Miles Edgeworth.
Miles had been his confidant, debate partner, and even his accidental sort-of-first-kiss.
He was heartbroken the day Miles vanished.
Ten years later, it's the night before Phoenix's first day of law school and the fire alarm is going off in his dorm building.
Desperate to continue studying and not flunk out before the semester even begins, Phoenix goes to the seemingly-abandoned campus library. Between the long rows of dimly-lit ancient books, he runs (quite literally) into a face from his past.
Phoenix is shocked to find that unyieldingly compassionate Miles he once knew has been transformed into a smug asshole, who finds the mere idea of Phoenix's presence insulting.
Between investigating a murder on campus, taking part in an unfortunate amateur production of Don Quixote, and dealing with growing unnecessary feelings; Phoenix is starting to doubt his chances of making it out of law school alive.

Summary
DISCONTINUED
Carl couldn’t bear to live in the house after what happened, but neither could he bear to sell it. So instead he put it up for rent.
Tenant after tenant, none of them stayed longer than a month or two: kept claiming their stuff was being moved around and they could hear piano music playing at night. He's one last tenant away from giving in and selling his beloved home when a peculiar man, his equally unusual sister and her daughter apply to live in the house.
He expects they'll end up running out practically screaming just the same as all the others. He is wrong.
The Being Human AU literally no one asked for.
