Summary
The Dark Lord has risen.
Harry Potter is gone.
And Hermione Granger has disappeared into the heart of Voldemort’s regime.Forced deep within the enemy’s inner circle, Hermione survives through lies, performance, and increasingly unforgivable choices. Every day inside the Manor demands another piece of herself, and the longer the war drags on, the harder it becomes to remember who she was before it.
But survival was never going to be the most dangerous part.
Not when Draco Malfoy watches her like he’s trying not to lose something that was never his to begin with.
Not when Theodore Nott loves her with the kind of quiet devotion that turns fatal in wartime.
And not when whispers begin to spread that Harry Potter may not be dead at all.
As alliances fracture and old magic begins to awaken beneath the ruins of the war, Hermione finds herself trapped between duty, grief, and two boys who would burn the world down differently for her.
Because some love stories are not meant to survive.
And by the end of it, loving her may be the thing that destroys them all.

Summary
Emma Nolan is just trying to survive her new job in the Pitt.
After she was attacked on her first day, getting stronger seemed like a good idea.
Developing a gym crush on an arrogant, brutally honest ortho resident who won’t stop correcting her?
Less so.
Especially when he’s right about everything.
***
Brendon Park is just trying to finish his residency and leave Pittsburgh behind.
He has a fellowship in California, a plan, and no intention of getting attached to anything—or anyone—here.
Taking an interest in a nurse from the ED who always seems to be training next to him?
Ill-advised.
Especially when he can’t seem to stop spotting her.

Summary
“What, um,” she swallows and pushes her braid back over her shoulder with her other hand, “what are you doing?” Her voice wavers, and she hates that he might hear it. Hates that he might be able to read her mind—she’s never been good at hiding her emotions, they’re always painted plainly on her face.
“One, I need to hold onto something,” he explains, leaving no room for questions, “and two, I don’t want you to jump away from me while you help.”
“Help?” Emma slowly raises her eyes to meet his.
“Yes, help,” he says flatly, blue eyes boring into hers so intensely she’s sure he can tell what she’s thinking. “I can’t suture with one hand. I need you to be the other one.”
“I–I’m not sure I’m the best person for this,” she glances over her shoulder, looking to signal Donnie or someone who’s actually good at sutures. Her brain scrambles for an out, something to ground herself, to slow this down. “I’ve barely been here a month and—”
“And I’ve been doing this for twenty years, so you’ll be safe with me.”

Summary
“So ditch him,” comes out of his mouth before any critical thinking takes place. He holds out his hand. “Have dinner with me.”
“What?” Emma’s eyes widen. “That’s okay, I’m—I can take the bus back home.”
It’s clear from her tone she thinks the offer is just because her date stood her up and he feels bad. A miscommunication that must be rectified as soon as possible. Brendon doesn’t like being misunderstood.
He lets himself look her over, take in her bare legs, her short dress, the way the straps drape over her collarbones. “Dressed like that? No you can’t.” Impatiently, he reasserts that she should take his hand.
“Really,” she pleads, eyes wide and shining with emotion, “just go home. I’m fine.”
“I know you are.” That’s not the point.
It gives her pause. Two little lines appear between her eyebrows, adorably furrowed in confusion. “I—you what?”
He softens. “I know you’re okay. I’m asking you to dinner because I want to take you to dinner.”
