The Byers family decided, of all places, to move to Derry, Maine to get away from the danger and sadness of Hawkins, Indiana. Without their past causing rumors to pop up, Will was no longer the "zombie kid" with his "perverted" older brother. He was just a new kid in a weird little town. The Byers family had no idea how dark this town truly was. -

This is a thank you to Josh Ramsay, Matt Webb, Mike Ayley, and Ian Casselman. I didn’t have any real friends growing up. Their families shunned me because we left the cults they were in. I never really fit in and was often very alone but once I found your music, everything turned out okay. I was able to free myself from the bonds that held me away from the world. You were my first glimpse into the real world. So even though you’ve never met me, you’ve always been there for me and I’ll forever love you for it. I can’t wait to meet you. I’ll see you in Baltimore in September!
