    His embarrassment skyrockets, especially once the paramedic arrives and Phil realizes, with alarming clarity, just how attractive he actually is.

    Or: Phil tries to fix his broken glasses with super glue at three in the morning. He eats the super glue instead. Panic ensues. Paramedics are called.
    Phil does not die but he might get a phone number out of it.

    Or: Alternate universe - Phil's glue eating accident but Dan and him haven't met. Yet.
