Ever since he was a child, Eren had always hated being confined behind vast walls. He longs for freedom, he always wants to see the big world out there. But then when he really set foot outside that wall, crossing the other side of the ocean Eren realized that there was never "freedom" there.
Mikasa had always thought more than anyone else, she was the one who understood Eren best. She thought he had simply strayed from the path they had always taken together. But then Mikasa was shocked to realize, even though Eren hadn't changed, he had always been since the two of them first met…or maybe a lot earlier.
