The offer was interesting and even tempting, a good way to take a break from work that she didn't want to do in the first place, and Gigi wasn't the type of person to turn down an adventure, especially when it was practically free.

“Pfft. Chaotic brilliance” Gigi muttered to herself, sitting cross-legged on the floor of her room. She picker up her latest trial instrument, a kazoo. She buzzed it half-heartedly before tossing it onto the growing pile of rejects in the corner: a violin with a snapped bow, a cracked ukulele, and a clarinet that had mysteriously stopped making sound after only a week in her possession.
“I don’t need discipline,” Gigi grumbled. “I need snacks and nap time.”
