I was really unsatisfied with the entire "Gith Egg" questline, so I got this idea for a fix it fic.
What if Blurg and Omeluum had gotten to Ptaris before it was too late, and showed him the love and kindness he deserved?
I adore the mushroom husbands, and I couldn't get the idea of mushroom dads out of my head.

Omeluum attempts to discreetly research how hobgoblins express romantic interest. Blurg notices and offers his help. Together they begin exploring the possibility of a deeper relationship, charting a map into previously unknown territory for both of their kinds.
