Like the downfall of many civilizations, traitors within the royal inner circles poison the minds of kings and queens. Castrum Kremnos was no exception. It has steadily declined over the years. King Eurypon's madness has pushed the kingdom to the brink of collapse, and the ongoing armed conflict with the Ohkeman Kingdom was accelerating their destruction.
In desperation, the mighty kingdom called for an armistice—not merely a ceasefire, but a resolution to end the conflict altogether. They proposed an alliance between their kingdoms. News of this spread throughout Amphoreus overnight. Two of the strongest kingdoms were forming an alliance that would significantly alter the course of history. An agreement of blood needed to be established between the two kingdoms. Castrum Kremnos was required to offer up a bride from their royal family to be married to another royal family member in Ohkema.
Phainon, a collateral member of the royal family adopted from the fallen Aedes Elysiae territory, was tasked with selecting the bride. His choice shocked the entire world: he chose not from the offered brides but instead pointed to Mydeimos, the crown prince of Castrum Kremnos.
