Yuji quickly pushed the curse away and winced in pain as he felt Sukuna’s teeth scrape his neck. He was pretty sure the curse had taken some of his skin away when he pushed him.
Yuji brought trembling hands to his neck. What even was this? His eyes trailed to Sukuna’s lips which held a trail of blood and a defiant smirk. Yuji’s brows furrowed in anger.
He already regretted making a vow with the jerk that would use any moment to assert dominance.

...Without a second thought, she pushed Cyno against the wooden pier and held his arms in place at either sides of him.
“What are you doing.” Cyno asked, his stoic voice remaining in this situation. His helmet had fallen off on impact with the floor and revealed even more of his white hair. The stars reflected in his eyes and made them shine brighter than they had in the day.
“You know Cyno…touring wasn’t truly what I wanted to do today.” Lumine said, laying her rear on his thigh. Now she was sure he wouldn’t do any sudden movement with his legs.
“Then what did you want Lumine.” Lumine smirked, enjoying how her name rolled off of his tongue.
“I wanted you to ask me what I wanted from you.” She explained while leaning her face towards his. He did not break his gaze from hers and neither did he appear to be fazed by the current progression of events.
“What did you want then?” he asked. The moon’s reflection rippled along the waves as though bearing witness to her next words. She positioned her mouth near his ears, the pleasant scent of flowers she had never smelled before making its way to her nose.
“I want to consume you, General Mahamatra.”

She opened her mouth to answer him but instead blood seeped out, staining her white apparel. It seemed as though when that ruin hunter had pierced her flesh in a flurry of motions, it had also taken her voice. Xiao’s face contorted into an expression of deep aggravation and he tightened his grip on her. This caused Lumine to wince, his very touch set her skin ablaze and lit icy shivers down her spine. It seemed this would be the second battle she lost today. She cast her eyes downwards, feeling shame at her disgraceful inability to answer his question. As one last attempt, filled with more desperation than the others, she gazed back into his alluring orbs, her face slightly heating up at the sight of their unconditional beauty.Why couldn’t she answer him?
And then her heart fluttered.
