Summary
It started when Oikawa Tooru was saved by a young mermaid at the age of five. Then it grew when Iwaizumi was inexplicably saved by the same mermaid at the age of eleven.
As men who live and thrive on an ocean town with both of their careers being water oriented, mythical legends of mermaids surrounded their childhood. Both Oikawa and Iwaizumi believed in mermaid, despite the constant presence of disbelievers. Nevertheless, the spark was there. Both men knew that there was something, someone, out there, waiting for them.
Though both men had been together since they were children, there was always that feeling that there was something more, something missing.
It started with Oikawa and Iwaizumi being saved by a mermaid.
It grew with the mermaid being saved by Oikawa and Iwaizumi
On the shore of their home washes up an injured mermaid. That moment forever changed the course of these three lives, finally slotting all of the missing pieces together.
Sugawara Koushi washed up on the shore of Oikawa and Iwaizumi's hearts, finally filling that spot he had made by saving them all those years ago.
And of course, those two spots in Sugawara's heart had been waiting all the same.
