Summary

Michaela is only meant to stay a few days. But as the hours slip away, restraint begins to fracture, and Francesca finds herself standing on the edge of something she cannot name, cannot allow, and cannot seem to resist. I am quite the fan of Tim Burton and The Corpse Bride but I couldn’t help but wonder how the story of Emily worked if, instead of Victor, Victoria Everglot played the role of the spouse.
So, I decided to write the sapphic version I would like to see on screen: it will never happen but a girl can dream, right?
I’ve divided the story into two parts that made sense in my head.
