He turns. Looks at the camera.
Old static hisses across the screen. The tape kicks back a few times, Minho’s movements repeating themselves, his head turning, turning, turning. The sound sputters and chokes on itself, shudders around the room.
Then Minho is looking right at him, and Jisung is looking right back. Locked in time. Frozen in place.
Something is wrong. He can feel it in his bones, ballooning in his chest.
Something is wrong.
Minho isn’t smiling in this tape. He just stares at him. Stares, and stares, and stares.
It’s just Minho’s unmoving, blank, pale face on the screen.
It’s just him and Minho and the dark. Something like a knife sinks itself into Jisung’s stomach.
