Rick takes it, fiddling with it in his hands. Morty seems to know immediately that something is off when he does, a frown tugging on his lips, and Rick has to force the words out but he gets there in the end. “How… How long have you known that I’m not your Rick?”
(In another world, slightly to the left, Rick agonizes over the eventuality of Morty realizing that he’s not his Rick, only to find out Morty has already figured it out.)

Fuck I didn't think I'd get into Harry Potter again, but this fic made me reconsider. I read Son of Sea Foam first (PJO) and wanted to check out what other things they'd written since that one slapped and god, fuck am I glad I found this. Harry Potter aus tend to be somewhat predictable, given they don't drastically change anyone's character or throw in unnecessary and often poorly planned twists, but this one actually had me on the edge of my seat at many points. It was hilarious at many points, and made me both cry and laugh. Terrific fic- actually got me invested in the OCs and the character's lives. I'm not usually a Draco fan, yet his blend of dry sarcasm and stubborn loyalty drew me in.

Best DBH fic no cap no printer all fax.
But seriously Connor is one of my favourite characters and this fic handled him so well. The fandom seems to infantilize him so much- this fic was a breath of fresh air in that he was actually an obviously capable adult, while still including him being literally a month old and having to learn to navigate life. Check it out if you like Detroit or are fond of Connor in any way.

Broke my heart and then glued it together again. The way they interact with each other, the way that they both want to love and be loved, hold each other and know each other, to be known down to the smallest detail but just don't know how without it hurting is just- AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
The dynamic, the interactions, the way Albedo just feels so alienated from the rest of the world, the repeated question of who albedo would bleed for when he has no blood running through his veins... Alo the scene referenced in the summary? Chefs kiss. Phenomenal, beautiful, heartbreaking.
